During the start of the school year our band students were preparing tirelessly for the football games against North and Parkhill. This was an exciting opportunity for these aspiring musicians to learn about marching band for high school. This program had Ms. I explain the game to all of our instrumentalists and give cues for clapping and playing. The band inspired our eighth graders to a resounding win against North, their first of the season. At the seventh grade game, our band erupted with thunderous music however we lost in heartbreaking fashion 8-0 to Parkhill. Looking forward, our band is excited for All-Region auditions on November 14th for our top musicians. We hope to see you at their fall concert on November 6th at 6 PM, located at Westwood. We hope to see you there, supporting our friends, family and school.
