On Wednesday, December 3rd, twenty-three 7th and 8th graders competed in the school Spelling Bee. Students have been studying for the Bee since September, to prepare for the Bee. Three girls: Zoe, Canaan, and Savannah Clayton went 14 rounds before we were down to 2. Zoe and Canaan went back and forth for 7 rounds. In round 23, Zoe won with the word mitosis, though there were much harder words along the way.

Zoe will compete in the district Bee in January!
