TEA Distinctions!

We are celebrating 6 Distinction Designations from the Texas Education Agency (TEA). Distinctions are special recognitions given to schools that show outstanding achievement in certain areas compared to other schools across the state. We are proud to share that Westwood Junior High earned distinctions in:

  • Academic Achievement in Mathematics
  • Academic Achievement in Science
  • Academic Achievement in Social Studies
  • Academic Achievement in Reading/Language Arts
  • Top 25%: Comparative Academic Growth
  • Postsecondary Readiness

These recognitions celebrate the hard work of our students, teachers, and families. Together, we are preparing every student for future success!
