Westwood Walks

On Wednesday, February 4th, Westwood held it’s annual Westwood Walks, where 6th grade students and parents arrived on campus to explore the different electives they will be allowed to choose from next year as 7th graders. There were stations for the different electives, beginning with Fine Arts which had our RISD Star Teachers for Band and Orchestra, as well as the choir director on hand to showcase their programs. Both Mrs. Melson and Mr. Duncan were on hand to share what their art classes create throughout the year. Our Athletic coaches, Leadership teachers, AVID director, and CTE instructors all presented information on their classes hoping to fill their classes for next year. It’s an amazing event that showcases the exceptional opportunities for our future students!
