Hello FMMS Chargers,

Welcome to the school year! I am excited for another great year at FMMS! Our talented teachers are ready and energized to reach and teach our Charger students. We are planning engaging lessons and we see such hope and potential in this school year.

If you are new to FMMS, welcome! You have found the best Middle School in all of RISD! Being a Forest Meadow Charger means you are an integral part of our success and we are thrilled to work alongside you this school year!  Not to mention, we are also the top performing secondary campus in RISD and we are looking forward to continuing our greatness!

A little bit about me; My husband Tommy and I live in Frisco and we have 3 children. Kaylie is a 1st grade teacher at Aikin Elementary (a FMMS feeder school), Carson is a recent college graduate and is working as an accountant for a marketing firm in Dallas. Our youngest is Garrett who is in the Air Force stationed abroad!

This school year marks my 22nd year in education and my 12th year in RISD and all in the Lake Highlands Learning Community. I have served as a High School Testing Coordinator, JH Assistant Principal, Elementary Principal and JH Principal. In my free time, I love spending time with my family, reading, traveling and online shopping😊.

I am honored to serve as your principal and to lead our school each day. I take great pride in watching our students grow and mature through their time at FMMS. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions, concerns or just to say hi!
