When there’s a personal connection to a cause, Bowie Elementary RISD shows up in a big way!
The mustangs community surpassed their fundraising goal and raised $17,000 for the Kids Heart Challenge & American Heart Challenge, benefiting heart health!
They have their own “Heart Hero” on campus, a 5th grade student who shares her personal heart journey each year with students and staff shows how their contributions help kids like her 
.
As a celebration, students cheered on the admin team as they competed in a KHC Inflatable Race. The Cow, Pig, and Koala raced to a photo finish. Great job, Mustangs!
