Principal Kristin Pernici
As a youngster growing up in south Louisiana, I always knew I’d grow up to be a teacher. My father was a teacher and my mother worked in the Counseling Office at my school. I went off to college at Louisiana State University to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Just after graduation, I started my teaching career here in RISD 22 years ago at Apollo Junior High. While teaching at Apollo, I earned a second Master’s Degree in Educational Administration. Before landing at Dartmouth as Principal, I spent my time as a Literacy Coach, an Instructional Coach, and an Assistant Principal.
When I’m not at school, I love spending time with my family. My husband, 2 sons, and I spend lots of time at the baseball field. We also enjoy watching LSU Football, LSU Baseball, and the New Orleans Saints! Lately, we have really enjoyed playing pickleball together as a family.
I absolutely love serving the students, staff, and families of Dartmouth Elementary. I’m so very excited for what the 2025-26 school year will bring! Our theme this year is all things superheroes! Growing is our Superpower!

Assistant Principal Tasha Anthony
Welcome to Dartmouth Elementary! I’m honored to begin my 17th year in Richardson ISD and my 7th year as an assistant principal. This year marks my 4th year serving the incredible students, staff, and families of Dartmouth, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to continue growing alongside this amazing community.
Each year brings new challenges and new chances to support our students in becoming confident, compassionate, and capable learners. I’m committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment where every child feels seen, heard, and valued.
Outside of school, I love spending time with my family, cheering on my kids in their activities, and staying active in our local community. I look forward to partnering with you this school year as we work together to help every student grow because at Dartmouth, growth is our superpower!
