LHHS 12th grader wins BEAM Spanish Essay Writing Contest

🏆 Congratulations to Eimy Ramos Gonzalez, Lake Highlands HS 12th grader, for winning 1st place in the Bilingual Education Association of the Metroplex (BEAM) Spanish Essay Writing Contest!

This year’s prompt, “How will being bilingual assist you in your future endeavors?” earned top honors!

Arriving from Cuba just last year, Eimy has already scored a 4 on AP Spanish Literature, is taking AP Spanish, and is also studying Japanese at LHHS.
