LHHS JWAC Makes RISD History

LHHS JWAC Students

The LHHS Junior World Affairs Council competed in the North Texas Academic WorldQuest competition on Wednesday. Students spent two months studying a wide range of international topics including Middle East Realignment, the High Seas Treaty, South Korea, the Global South, and Sports & Diplomacy.

One of our teams placed 5th out of 96 teams – the highest ranking in RISD history! This team beat Ursuline, Jesuit, Cistercian, and quite a few others! Congratulations to the following Wildcats for their 5th place win! Thank you, Emily Ramirez (Social Studies and JWAC Sponsor), for your hard work and time with our JWAC Wildcats!
