More than 90 RISD high school students are being celebrated for earning academic honors through College Board’s National Recognition Programs.

Congratulations to all four RISD Volleyball teams for finishing in the top four spots in District 7-6A and advancing to the UIL Volleyball State Playoffs.

Lake Highlands, Pearce, and Richardson high schools earned the national recognition for Advanced Placement class success.

RISD is changing the dates of spring break on the 2024-25 student academic calendar. The new dates for spring break will be March 10-14, 2025 – moved up one week from the previous dates of March 17-21.

Lake Highlands seniors walked across the stage Memorial Day weekend to receive their diplomas.

More than 2,600 members of the Class of 2024 walked across the stage last weekend at Wildcat-Ram stadium.

Katie Sanders of Arapaho Classical Magnet made it to the semifinals, and Melanie Theissen of LHHS was named a finalist.
