We are so proud to announce that our very own Mr. Ernie Huben, Algebra 1 and Pre-Algebra teacher, was named RISD’s Secondary 2022-2023 Teacher of the Year! This is an amazing honor that required multiple rounds of screening, panel interviews, and two teams of central staff members who visited Mr. Huben’s class to confirm what our Liberty Junior High family of students, teachers and staff already knew- that Mr. Huben is simply the best! The district will now move his nomination forward to Region 10 Teacher of the Year! We are so proud to have this recognition for Mr. Huben, one of our many amazing teachers here at Liberty Junior High.
