During the Quarter 2 pep rally, Ernie Huben was named Liberty’s Teacher of the Year for 2022-2023. Mr. Huben is an incredibly dedicated, caring, and beloved teacher at Liberty. In his last 27 years as a math teacher in RISD, he has always put students first, including giving up countless Saturday mornings to work with Algebra students. He takes the time to build great relationships with his students while making sure his students understand the curriculum. His positivity and love of learning make him a wonderful role model for our Liberty students. Congratulations, Mr. Huben!
