The school library is a huge passion of mine and I’m excited to bring that passion to Mohawk. My vision for the Mohawk Library is to create a warm, welcoming space where I can instill a love of reading in all students.
All About Mrs. Beathard
Welcome to the Mohawk Library! I am Mrs. Beathard and I’m so excited to be the new Mohawk LITE. This is my 5th year as a librarian, and I taught 3rd grade for five years. I enjoy spending my free time reading (obviously) and decorating.
I went to Texas A&M University and received my bachelor’s in Interdisciplinary Studies. I then attended Texas Womans University and graduated with a Masters In Library Science in 2012.
I look forward to having an amazing year in the library with you and your child!

- Texas Bluebonnet Program for 3rd-6th graders
- Texas 2×2 Reading Program for Kinder-2nd graders
- Lunch Book Clubs for students in grades 3rd-6th grade
- Future Colt Storytime (October, January and April)
