Dear Parkhill Junior High Students, Staff, Parents and Community,
It is with great pleasure and excitement that I introduce myself as the new principal at Parkhill Junior High. I am humbled to be taking the leadership reins from Mrs. Smock, and I look forward to continuing the legacy of academic excellence, as well as ensuring that we are fostering an environment for all students to strive to be the very best they can be.
This will be my 12th year in education where I have had the privilege of working with students at both the elementary and junior high level. The bulk of my teaching career was spent working with junior high students, teaching sixth and seventh grade English Language Arts. I also had the opportunity to coach seventh and eighth grade girls volleyball, basketball and track; an invaluable experience that has helped shape me into the leader that I am today. Most recently, I have been serving as the Canyon Creek Elementary principal for the past three years.
I am beyond thrilled to stay in the amazing Pearce High School learning community and to get to know you all better! There will be more communication coming soon on how we can get connected and meet in person.
The 2024-2025 school year is going to be amazing, and I cannot wait to begin the transition into this new role and continue the greatness that is Parkhill Junior High!
