2026 Hall of Honor Induction Ceremony

We were incredibly proud to host our 2026 Hall of Honor Induction ceremony, an event dedicated to celebrating the legacy, grit, and achievements of our most distinguished alumni. This year, we added four remarkable names to our permanent history:

  • Chris Jacke (Class of 1984): NFL Legend
  • Anthony Dorsett, Jr. (Class of 1991): NFL Standout
  • Shelby Sullivan Pettigrew (Class of 2012): Hall of Honor Member
  • Drew Timme (Class of 2019): NBA Rising Star

This event was a true testament to the Mustang spirit. We extend our deepest gratitude to our inductees and their families for sharing their journeys with us. Special thanks to the RISD Board, our dedicated coaching staff, and the entire Mustang community for your unwavering support.

This event was made unforgettable by the energy of our student groups, including the Mustang Drumline, Cheer, Choir/Forte, ROTC, Spirit Stangs, Stampede, and NHS. We also wish to thank Albert Pena of G3 Photography for capturing the celebration and our generous sponsor, Rick Sheurer (Class of ‘05) @CMS Strategic Partners.

From watching his dad work hard on construction sites to a full ride to the University of Texas for civil engineering, Pearce High School senior Jose Patino’s journey has been shaped by determination and intentionality to build something that lasts. As a child of immigrants, his parents laid a strong foundation so he could embrace opportunities, earning admission to all 12 colleges he applied to while inspiring others along the way.
