Principal Carrie Breedlove
Carrie has been in education for 28 years serving as an English teacher at the junior high and high school level, ELAR learning specialist, assistant principal, principal at Lake Highlands Junior High, and now the principal of JJ Pearce in Richardson ISD. I am so excited to begin my 5th year as the Pearce principal with the best admin team and staff. Go Mustangs!
Associate Principal | 12th Grade - Rodney Beasley
Rod is starting his 22nd year in education while serving 21 with Richardson ISD. Rod has served at the junior high and high school level in the Lake Highlands and Pearce learning communities as teacher/coach and assistant principal.
Assistant Principal | 11th Grade - Ashton Tilley
Mrs. Tilley is excited to start her 17th year of education and her 11th year at Pearce High School. Prior to joining the leadership team, she had the honor of serving as an ESL and English teacher and an instructional coach. Mrs. Tilley is proud to call Pearce High School home and looks forward to continuing her work with students and the Pearce community!
Assistant Principal | 9th/10th Grades A-C - John Wing
Mr. Wing begins his fourteenth year at Pearce High School. He is a Richardson High School and University of Texas graduate and has worked his entire career starting in 1991 in the Richardson ISD, as a high school and junior high Spanish teacher and as a high school and junior high assistant principal. Mr. Wing looks forward to a new year of learning and growing in the fully renovated and updated JJ Pearce High School building. Go Mustangs!
Assistant Principal | 9th/10th Grades D-I - Kendrick Hover
Mrs. Hover has been in education for 10 years and is starting her 9th year at Pearce High School. She has served as a Biology teacher and Instructional Coach before joining leadership. Mrs. Hover is grateful and excited for the opportunity to work with more of our students at Pearce High School and serve the entire Pearce Learning Community.
Assistant Principal | 9th/10th Grades J-M - Sharmeadia Gunter
Sharmeadia will begin her 26th year in education this fall and her 15th year in Richardson ISD. Before joining the RISD family, Sharmeadia served as a high school biology, IPC, and chemistry teacher at Dallas ISD. She also taught adult continuing education and GED classes at Houston Community College. After which, she served as a chemistry teacher and instructional coach at Lake Highlands High School, an instructional coach at Richardson High School, and will begin her 9th year as an assistant principal at Pearce High School. Sharmeadia is excited about the new school year and working with our amazing students, staff, and community.
Assistant Principal | 9th/10th Grades N-R - TJ Navin
Mr. Navin is beginning his eighteenth year in education and his fourteenth year with RISD. While in education he has serves as a Science teacher, Coach, Instructional Coach and Assistant Principal. He is coming to J.J. Pearce as an assistant principal and Dean of Students. He is very excited to be able to work in the community where he lives and serves. Go Mustangs!!!
Assistant Principal | 9th/10th Grades S-Z - LeAndre Benton
LeAndre Benton is an administrator at J.J. Pearce High School in Richardson ISD in Richardson, Texas. Before serving in the position as administrator, Mr. Benton was the Associate Director of Bands at J.J. Pearce High School where he served as an instructor of the marching band, conducted the Wind Symphony, assisted with other concert ensembles, and taught beginner classes within the Pearce cluster. Mr. Benton is a native of Longview, Texas, and a graduate of Longview High School. Mr. Benton was previously the Associate Director of Bands at Little Elm High School, in Little Elm, Texas, before joining Richardson ISD.
