Team members are in 10-12 grade; tryouts are held each December. New members serve as “Pacesetter Rookies” during the Spring Semester before officially joining the team for the following school year. The Pacesetters perform at all Varsity football games, pep rallies, additional JJPHS athletic events, host an annual Holiday Bazaar, Dance Workshop for future Pacesetters, and participate in many local dance competitions. In April, the Pacesetters put on a spectacular Spring Show, Pacesetter Revue, which highlights their many talents as well as those of other students/performance groups of JJPHS.
