AP/Advanced/OnRamps Information

Drop forms will be available in the counseling office beginning September 1st. We will also post the form on the counselor’s website and make announcements when the drop form is ready. Students should attend tutorials and/or ask for help in class even if they are planning to drop. The student’s grade in their Advanced/AP/OnRamps course follows to their on-level course. Please be aware that schedule changes could take several days after turning in a drop form. We will make every effort to not disrupt a student’s schedule, however, we have to take into consideration class sizes and availability. We are not able to tell you what a student’s schedule will look like if they drop a certain advanced/AP/On-Ramps class. Students will remain in the advanced/AP/On-Ramps course until they get an email that their schedule has changed or they can check Focus for schedule updates.

This is a friendly reminder that we are not changing elective classes. This was communicated during course selection in both early and late spring. Our master schedule was built for the classes your student’s chose for this school year. If there is a class they wanted to take instead, they should plan to put that on their course selection card for the following school year. We will start planning for the 27-28 school year in December/early January.
