Random Searches

Throughout the year we will do random wand searches as well as metal detectors upon entry.

We had one on Friday, November 14th and all went well. Our goal is to be as efficient as possible so students arrive to class on time. These searches will not be announced unless we do a search of every student.

Thank you for your support as we continue to make Pearce a safe campus for all.

If we find phones not locked in the YONDR pouches, we will lock them up. We also took up several phones as students did not have their YONDR pouches. Please remind your kids that all phones should be in their YONDR pouches as required by RISD.

From watching his dad work hard on construction sites to a full ride to the University of Texas for civil engineering, Pearce High School senior Jose Patino’s journey has been shaped by determination and intentionality to build something that lasts. As a child of immigrants, his parents laid a strong foundation so he could embrace opportunities, earning admission to all 12 colleges he applied to while inspiring others along the way.
