Testing Information

Mustang Families,

As you may know, April is the month for STAAR EOC exams. The following exams are scheduled:

1. April 15, 2025- Biology & U.S. History
2. April 16, 2025- Make-Up Biology & U.S. History
3. April 23, 2025- Make-Up Biology & U.S. History
4. April 29, 2025- Algebra 1
5. April 30, 2025- Make-Up Algebra 1

Due to the number of students testing, the number of staff members required, and the space needed, we will have alternate schedules for these days. Be sure to scroll down to view all 3 pages!

For Testers:

1. Bring a charged Chromebook and student ID.
2. Lunch will be eaten in the testing room. Students may purchase a sack lunch from the cafeteria, or bring their own lunch.
   1. Students will not be allowed to leave the testing room to pick their lunch up from the office. Please send lunch with your student in the morning or plan for them to purchase lunch.
3. Testing locations will be posted in the schedule (above) by Monday, April 7th.
4. Students will not have access to their email and especially not their phones. If you need to get an urgent message to your student, please call the main office.
   1. Please note: If students choose to access their email or phone during the exam, their exam (and, possibly, the exams of those around them) may be invalidated. Please discuss this with your student and encourage them to follow the rules set forth by the state of Texas for this exam.
5. Please do not schedule appointments or plan to pick your students up early on this day.
   1. A sincere note: Our testing team works very hard to ensure a secure testing environment for our students; a ton of moving parts go into making a day like this successful. When parents request that students be pulled from a testing room, the team’s attention is pulled away from its job and the testing environment is disrupted for more than just one student.

Non-Testers

1. Please read the schedule (linked above) very carefully! Students who are not present at the required times will receive an unexcused absence.
