From watching his dad work hard on construction sites to a full ride to the University of Texas for civil engineering, Pearce High School senior Jose Patino’s journey has been shaped by determination and intentionality to build something that lasts. As a child of immigrants, his parents laid a strong foundation so he could embrace opportunities, earning admission to all 12 colleges he applied to while inspiring others along the way.

In response to the updates to students’ schedule for the 26-27 school year, Richardson ISD is coordinating with Dallas College to open up additional spots for dual credit summer courses where possible. Pearce won Outstanding Musical Award at the 15th Annual High School Musical Theatre Awards for their production of Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 Pearce Orchestra won Outstanding Orchestra for Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 What an incredible accomplishment for our students and directors!

Broadway Dallas High School Musical Theatre Awards honored J.J. Pearce Theatre with 9 nominations, including 8 nominations for Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812 and 1 nomination for Alice by Heart.
