Dear PCE Community,
My name is Stephanie Gonçalves, and I am honored to continue serving as Principal of Prairie Creek Elementary for the 2025–2026 school year. Over the past 18 years, I have held various roles in education—including teacher, curriculum developer, director of afterschool and summer STEAM programming, as Assistant Principal for 3 years and beginning my 4th year as Principal of the greatest school- PCE!
As a leader, I believe deeply in the power of positive relationships. Building strong connections with students, families, staff, and the wider community is essential to creating a collaborative and supportive school environment. Open communication and mutual respect are the cornerstones of our shared success—my door is always open to you.
I am excited to continue working alongside our dedicated staff and incredible families to ensure that every child at Prairie Creek Elementary feels seen, supported, and inspired to thrive—academically, socially, and emotionally.

Dear PCE Family,
My name is Catherine Cassias, and this will be my fourth year at Prairie Creek. and are honored to continue to serve as your Assistant Principal for the 2025-2026 school year. Over the past fifteen years, I have held various roles in education at all levels and types of positions. Most of my experience has been right here in Richardson ISD serving as a classroom teacher in grades 2nd – 6th, a math specialist, and an instructional coach.
As a leader, I believe in servant leadership, building relationships, and communication for all those involved at Prairie Creek Elementary. Please reach out anytime for whatever you may need. I am here to serve you and enjoy being able to help others.
I am privileged to work together to create a positive atmosphere where every child connects with others, learns, grows, and succeeds.
