Fire Safety House & Community Helpers

PWE Fire Safety

A big thank you to the Dallas Fire Department and Mrs. Lyon for bringing the Safety Fire House to PWE this week! This mobile unit helps train children on important fire safety practices, including kitchen burn prevention, smoke detector use, and escape techniques. With tools like a smoke detector, imitation smoke, and flashing lights, students experienced an interactive fire simulation, learning how to respond safely. We appreciate the Dallas Fire Department and Mrs. Lyon for coordinating this engaging and educational opportunity for our students! Our Pre-K class also had a special visit from some of our community helpers, a Dallas Fire Fighter who is also a PWE Parent!
