Japanese Speech Contest

Please join me in congratulating the following students who placed at the Regional Japanese Speech Contest held on Saturday, February 14, 2026.
Our students represented Richardson High School well. Their preparation and consistent effort were reflected in their performances.
The 1st and 2nd place winners in each division will advance to the State Japanese Speech Contest in March.

Competing in Japanese requires not only language proficiency but also courage, cultural understanding, and strong presentation skills. I am incredibly proud of these students for their achievement and for representing RHS so well.

Richardson High School DECA’s ROOST & PERCH Earn Gold-Level SBE Recertification

Richardson High School’s DECA chapter is proud to announce that both the ROOST and the PERCH have once again earned Gold-Level School-Based Enterprise (SBE) Certification from DECA Inc. for the 2025–2026 school year.

This prestigious recognition places RHS among 989 SBEs worldwide achieving Gold-Level distinction. The ROOST and the PERCH will be recognized and compete at DECA’s International Career Development Conference this April in Atlanta, Georgia.

Congratulations to Mr. Lee Geffert and the outstanding DECA students whose hard work, leadership, and commitment to excellence made this achievement possible!
