Celebrating Richardson High School Artists During National Youth Art Month

March is National Youth Art Month, a time dedicated to recognizing the creativity, skill, and hard work of student artists across the country.

At Richardson High School, we are proud to kick off our art advocacy by celebrating the incredible accomplishments of our students at the Region 10E Visual Arts Scholastic Event (VASE) hosted by the Texas Art Education Association.

This year, seven Richardson High School art teachers and more than 70 RHS art students participated in this prestigious UIL competition for Region 10E.

Each student created original artwork and submitted a written explanation describing their ideas, materials, and artistic process. At the event, students also presented their work in front of professional judges, discussing their artistic choices and demonstrating the depth of thought behind their work.
