Richardson, L.V. Berkner, and J.J. Pearce High schools recognized over 60 Cadets at our annual National Awards Banquet. Richardson High School recognized over 30 Cadets this school year for their performance as Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (JROTC) Cadets. We recognize some of our honored cadets for their outstanding achievements during the 2025-2026 school year. Many of our cadets have excelled academically, displayed their leadership abilities, challenged themselves physically, and proven their worth throughout the school year during events designed to measure leadership, citizenship, and team work. The mission of JROTC the is to motivate young people to become better citizens, and we believe that we have accomplished that mission. The senior army instructors for J.J. Pearce Lieutenant Colonel Morton, Richardson Captain Lawrence and L.V. Berkner, Command Sergeant Major Peebles high schools have reposed special trust and confidence in the patriotism, fidelity, and abilities of the following cadets. In view of this special trust and confidence and the demonstrated potential of these cadets, these cadets earned awards in recognition of cadet participation, superior performance, and achievement. Awards are indicative of a Cadet’s demonstrated ability to accomplish goals, achievement of excellence and recognize cadet’s untiring efforts and dedication to personal development, learning, and teamwork. This achievement reflects great credit upon Cadets, U.S. Army Cadet Command, and the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps, Eagle Battalion and Richardson High School. We would like to thank all the Organizations out there who support and contribute to recognizing our Cadets. Scottish Rite, Warrant Officers, Association, Daughters of the American Revolution, Sons of the American Revolution, United States Daughters of 1812, The Military Order of World Wars, American Legion Post 369, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Order of the Daedalian, U.S. Cavalry Association, 82nd Airborne Association, Reserve Officers Association, Our Superintendent and each schools Principals and Assistant Principals, Teachers and special thanks to Mr. Josh Eason Avid Director for RISD, just to name a few that recognize and reward our Cadets for their accomplishments.
