Homecoming Parade 2024!

Hco 2024

This week is a big one for RHS and the RHS Learning Community. This Friday is our homecoming parade! The high school will get out at 2, and the parade starts around 4pm. If you have never attended, you really should. It is a lot of fun. All the learning community schools will have floats in the parade. Here is some background information from our homecoming chairs:

Since 1965, The Richardson High School Homecoming Parade has been an annual tradition that unites the RISD community. That makes this year our 58th annual parade. The Homecoming Parade is a time to celebrate being an EAGLE (past, present and future)!
With fancy floats and guests of honor riding in convertibles, to cheerleaders riding on Harleys, and alumni, student, and community organizations all flaunting their RHS spirit ─ the Homecoming Parade is an event NO ONE will want to miss!! “Wish Upon a Star” is the theme for this year’s parade.
