On Saturday, October 3, auditions were held for the TMEA Region 3 All-Region orchestras. There are two orchestras available for high schoolers to audition for – the String orchestra, which is a 9th and 10th grade group, and the Full orchestra, which is 9th thru 12th grades and is an All-State track group. This year, 50 RHS orchestra students participated in auditions, and we are proud to announce that 17 of our students made it into the orchestras! In addition, of the many that qualified to audition for All-State, seven are planning to continue on to the area audition in two weeks.
