Last weekend, the RHS Academic Decathlon team traveled to San Antonio to compete with the best of the best in the state of Texas. This event is the culmination of a year studying Technology & Humanity. Our kids fought through some tough moments and improved upon their regionals score – the team is ranked as the 12th place large school in the state and materialized 8 individual medals.
As the cherry on top, Coach Mike Hill was awarded the AcDec coach of the year. He was nominated by our current and past decathletes and supporters.
