Proposed Richardson High School Bond 2025 Projects

On November 4th, registered voters will have the opportunity to vote on a $1.4 billion bond package proposed by the Richardson ISD Board of Trustees. Read more about the proposed projects and the impact on our campus.

The Richardson High School Volleyball team is headed to the UIL State Playoffs for the 9th consecutive season and 15th time in the last 17 years! 🏐💜💛 Catch the Eagles in action as they take on Arlington Martin in the Bi-District Round next Thursday! 💪🦅

RHS Orchestra Success at Region Auditions!
Congrats to our RHS orchestra students who auditioned and made it in to the TMEA Region 3 All-Region orchestras!

RISD Schools Earn 100+ State Distinction Designations
Thirty Richardson ISD schools have earned 101 state distinctions in the 2025 Texas Education Agency (TEA) Accountability Ratings.

UIL Tennis Team Championships & Bi-District Round
Congratulations to Lake Highlands, J.J. Pearce and Richardson High School tennis teams for qualifying for the UIL Championships. All 3 teams will play their Bi-District round this week.

Lead Well Student Leadership Summit Kicks Off for the 2025-26 School Year
The program offers juniors and seniors an opportunity to develop their leadership skills, learn, and connect with other student leaders.

RHS Homecoming Week: September 29 – October 3
Get ready for a full week of spirit and celebration! Dress-up days run Monday–Friday, with the Homecoming parade on Friday at 4 PM, the game at 7 PM, and the dance Saturday at 7:30 PM.
AVID National Demonstration Schools are centers of teaching and learning that also serve as models for those interested in learning about the AVID College Readiness System. They clearly demonstrate an ongoing pursuit of excellence, both in the AVID Elective and AVID Schoolwide, to ensure college and career readiness for all AVID Elective students and improved academic performance for all students based on increased opportunities and support for success.
A National Demonstration School exhibits a college and career readiness system that is evident across the campus through rigor and high expectations for all students. There is significant evidence of AVID impact schoolwide, particularly with the infusion of AVID methodologies in content-area classrooms.
