RISD is proud to welcome military families to our schools, specifically Berkner High School and the surrounding area! Our goal is to support you through the challenges of deployment, relocation, and learning life in a new city. If you are part of a military family who has been transferred to Joint Reserve Base (JRB) Fort Worth or Dallas-Fort Worth Area Military Installations, we’re here for you. Any parent or guardian who is an Active-Duty, National Guard, or Retired member of the United States Armed Forces may enroll children in Richardson ISD schools.

To get started, please contact RISD Student Services. Be prepared to tell us where you plan to live and the ages of your children to be enrolled with us, and we will let you know which campuses your students may attend. We will also notify the campuses.
