These students get to say that they were the first ever Mariachi in Richardson ISD to earn a 1st Division Rating at Mariachi UIL Contest and advanced to the State UIL Mariachi Festival
2 of the musicians pictured, seniors, are charter members from when the group was formed by Lydia Villarreal-Samperio in 2022. 4 of the musicians pictured began learning the instrument they play at the beginning of the school year.
