Gigi Cedeno Makes History: 3rd Place at State and 100th Career Win

It was a historic weekend for Berkner Rams Wrestling as Gigi Cedeno delivered a powerhouse performance at the UIL State Wrestling Tournament. Gigi didn’t just compete; she rewrote the record books, finishing 3rd in the state and securing her place as the highest-placing wrestler in Berkner history.

The road to the podium was paved with grit and determination. In the midst of her dominant run through the bracket, Gigi also reached a massive personal milestone: her 100th varsity career win. Her podium finish sets a new standard for the Berkner Wrestling program and serves as an inspiration for all current and future student-athletes at Berkner.
