Animation Students Shine at SkillsUSA Last Friday, eight of our talented animation students showcased their skills at the SkillsUSA competition, bringing home impressive awards for their hard work and dedication.

Drone Aviation Team Soars to Victory! Our Drone Aviation team absolutely dominated the SkillsUSA District 6 sUAS Commercial Drone Competition this past weekend!
- Hunter Ayers & Jeffrey Chou (Seniors): 1st Place – Advancing to State in Corpus Christi this April!
- Antonio Lopez & Abd-Ur-Rehman Abbasi (Seniors): 3rd Place Both teams performed exceptionally well. Please congratulate them on their outstanding achievements!
Bandoleras Dance Team: Grand Champions! The Berkner Bandoleras danced their way to glory at the Ascension Dance Competition, returning as GRAND Champions and Overall Champions for both Team and Officers! Their hard work and dazzling performances truly paid off.

Gigi Cedeno Makes Berkner Wrestling History at State! A monumental congratulations to Gigi Cedeno for placing an incredible 3rd at the UIL State Wrestling Tournament on Saturday! Competing against the top 16 wrestlers in her weight class across the entire State of Texas, Gigi was the highest placer in all of RISD and is now the HIGHEST placer in Berkner Wrestling History, and the first Berkner wrestler to place at the State tournament since 2012! This enormous accomplishment also marked her 100th varsity win – a truly rare achievement!
