Huge congratulations are in order for Berkner High School seniors Dat Nguyen and Lorena Araujo!
Competing at the SkillsUSA State competition in Corpus Christi, this talented duo showcased incredible technical skill and creativity to bring home the Gold Medal in 3D Visualization and Animation. Under the mentorship of their teacher, Idabel Torres, Dat and Lorena rose to the top of a highly competitive field.
With this state victory, the team has officially qualified for the SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference! They will be heading to Atlanta this June to represent Berkner and RISD on the national stage.
