On Veterans Day, the Lake Highlands Wildcat Battalion proudly marched in the Dallas Veterans Day Parade. Representing Richardson ISD, 167 cadets showcased precision and teamwork alongside more than 50 organizations from across the DFW area. Their outstanding performance earned them 1st Place Overall for precision, size, and esprit de corps. We are incredibly proud of the Wildcat Battalion for representing Lake Highlands with such distinction on this important day of remembrance.

For the Lake Highlands High School alumnus, Toby Furr, early challenges and steep competition taught him persistence, passion, and showed the power of a strong foundation, so he could achieve his big dream of earning a spot on the world-renowned Pershing’s Own United States Army Band.
Four RISD teams have advanced to the UIL State Playoffs including the girls teams from Lake Highlands and Pearce and the boys teams from Lake Highlands and Pearce.
