The Wildcat Wash & Care is an on-campus, student-operated dog daycare and wash program run by the Lake Highlands High School senior-level Animal Science pathway students, supervised by their Practicum in Agriculture teacher. We are a learning program, not a professional kennel. Your support gives your pet attentive care while helping students gain hands-on experience in a supervised setting.

Every visit helps our senior Animal Science pathway students build practical skills in animal care. With teacher guidance, students provide each dog with thoughtful attention and care.
Your pup’s day may include:
✨ Enrichment activities to keep curious minds engaged and tails wagging
🐕 Supervised group playtime with canine friends
💛 One-on-one time for cuddles, walks, and extra attention
🎾 Fun activities such as fetch, puzzle toys, and agility
Ready for a little freshening up? Our wash service includes a refreshing bath (standard or sensitive), with the option to add a de-shedding treatment and ear cleaning. Nail care is also available for an additional cost.
Requirements for Participation
Proof of Rabies vaccination is required. Bordetella and DHLPP vaccinations are not required, but are highly recommended.
Male dogs over the age of 6 months must be neutered. Females cannot be in heat or pregnant during the time of their stay.

Because students are still learning in our program, we follow a restricted breeds list to help keep everyone safe. We know breed doesn’t always equal behavior, but taking this precaution allows us to focus on giving all pets the best care possible.
