RISD Schools Earn 100+ State Distinction Designations
Thirty Richardson ISD schools have earned 101 state distinctions in the 2025 Texas Education Agency (TEA) Accountability Ratings.

Homecoming Victory: 42 Reasons to Cheer!
The Wildcats crushed MacArthur in a Homecoming blowout, finishing 42-0 in front of a roaring crowd. Fans cheered, danced, and celebrated the team’s dominant performance, making this Homecoming one to remember.

Cheers to our King and Queen!
Congratulations to Xavier Reyes and Caroline Cummins for being crowned our 2025 Homecoming King and Queen! Their energy, school spirit, and pride shine as they lead the celebrations and represent our Wildcats this Homecoming season.

Everything’s bigger in Texas — especially our Homecoming mums!
Students showed off their Texas-sized school spirit by showcasing their elaborate Homecoming mums this week. The colorful creations, covered in ribbons, bells, and trinkets, celebrated one of Texas’s most beloved high school traditions. Hallways buzzed with excitement as students compared designs, snapped photos, and shared in the fun leading up to the big game and dance.

StuCo + School Spirit = Homecoming!
Our Student Council Wildcats, under the leadership of Erin Chesal (STUCO Sponsor, Social Studies, and Social Studies Department Head), did an amazing job during Homecoming Week! Thank you for all of your hard work in planning the dance, planning daily events, and working to make everything amazing!

Kindness Delivered
The Northwood Women’s Club stopped by last week to drop off hygiene kits for students who need them. They also presented us with a check to use to purchase additional kits. Thank you so much for thinking about us! We appreciate your generosity!

UIL Tennis Team Championships & Bi-District Round
Congratulations to Lake Highlands, J.J. Pearce and Richardson High School tennis teams for qualifying for the UIL Championships. All 3 teams will play their Bi-District round this week.
