Wildcat Battalion Explores ROTC Opportunities at UTA

JROTC visits UTA

The Wildcat Battalion’s junior and senior classes visited the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) to meet with the Maverick Battalion’s Army ROTC recruiter and freshman cadets. The visit offered a firsthand look at ROTC at the collegiate level, giving students valuable insight into both the academic and military aspects of university life. Cadets learned about scholarship opportunities, leadership training, and the wide range of career paths available through the Reserve Officer Training Corps.

Everything’s bigger in Texas — especially our Homecoming mums!

Students showed off their Texas-sized school spirit by showcasing their elaborate Homecoming mums this week. The colorful creations, covered in ribbons, bells, and trinkets, celebrated one of Texas’s most beloved high school traditions. Hallways buzzed with excitement as students compared designs, snapped photos, and shared in the fun leading up to the big game and dance.
