Principal Emily Lawrence
Dear Northrich Families, Staff, and Community,
I am Emily Lawrence, proud principal of Northrich Elementary, and it is my honor to continue serving this remarkable school. I am proud to share that my entire 23-year career has been devoted to serving the staff, students, and families of Richardson ISD. As a lifelong RISD learner myself, I attended Richardson schools from kindergarten through high school and am a proud graduate of the district.
My journey in education began as a classroom teacher at Richland and Thurgood Marshall Elementary Schools. I later served as a Math Specialist at Aikin Elementary and as an Instructional Coach at Big Springs Elementary. Now entering my third year as principal, I am proud to continue the journey that began during my four years as Northrich’s assistant principal.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending quality time with my family. My husband, Kenneth, and I are the proud parents of two energetic and loving children, Rhett and Reagan, as well as our playful dog, Dutch. As a parent, I understand how important it is to feel confident in your child’s school experience, and I am committed to ensuring that Northrich is a place where every child feels safe, supported, and inspired to succeed.
As we look ahead to the 2026–2027 school year, I am eager to collaborate with our staff, families, and community partners to make it an exceptional one. Together, we will build on the strong foundation we already have in place—focusing on student growth, meaningful relationships, and a culture that celebrates learning and achievement. My door is always open, and I truly value your input and support. Together, I know we will continue to achieve great things and create lasting memories for our students.
Thank you for the opportunity to lead, serve, and grow with you.
Warmly,
Emily Lawrence

Assistant Principal Manina (Bonnie) Altimore
I am honored and excited to serve as the Assistant Principal of Northrich Elementary! I bring 14 years of experience in Richardson ISD, where I have had the opportunity to serve in a variety of instructional and leadership roles. Most recently, I served as the Assistant Principal at Big Springs Elementary for four years. Prior to that, I taught 1st – 4th grades at Richland Elementary and White Rock Elementary, and I served as the Campus Math Specialist at Hamilton Park Pacesetter Magnet.
Richardson ISD has always held a special place in my heart because I grew up here and attended Richland Elementary, Richardson Junior High, and Berkner High School. It is truly a privilege to continue serving the district that helped shape who I am today.
I am passionate about building strong relationships with students, families, and staff while creating a positive school culture where every child feels known, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential. I believe the strongest schools are built through meaningful partnerships between home and school, and I look forward to working alongside our students, families, and staff to support every child’s academic, social, and emotional growth.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband, Jon, and I have been married for seven years and have two children, Amelia and Hudson. Amelia attends Canyon Creek Elementary, and Hudson attends Little Mustangs. I also have two step-children, Maddie and Sam, who both graduated from Berkner High School.
I am thrilled to be part of the Northrich Elementary family and look forward to partnering with you this school year!
