Richardson West Principal Kimberly Kindred was selected for two distinct awards this spring.
Magnet Schools of America Region V Principal of the Year and
Richardson ISD Secondary Principal of the Year!
Mrs. Kindred received the Magnet Schools of America Region V Principal of the Year award at the annual conference that was held in New York City in April. She was accompanied by representatives from leadership in Richardson ISD including Superintendent Tabitha Branum and the Magnet Team of teachers from RWJH. This was an incredible honor and everyone was so happy to celebrate in NYC!
Mrs. Kindred was surprised on her return that she had also been selected as the recipient of the Secondary Principal of the year by the Richardson ISD school district! Students, district leadership, and school staff lined the halls to celebrate with her as she received her award.
Mrs. Kindred has proven to be a remarkable leader for RWJH and it has been wonderful to celebrate her this spring in such big ways! We are so proud of her as she represents our school so well!
