We were so proud of RWJH student, Alisson Gonzales Melendez, who was chosen as the winner of the BEAM (Bilingual/ESL Education Association of the Metroplex) Essay Competition. She was recognized and awarded a prize of $5,000 at their Symposium Awards ceremony. We would also like to acknowledge her teacher, Mrs. Gonzalez who guided Alisson on her journey to enter this competition. Way to go Alisson!
