We started a new wing of prekindergarten/Early Childhood Special Education classes this year at Wallace.
Ms. Perry has dedicated valuable time providing face-to-face professional development for the support staff of these classes, helping them walk through logistical, instructional, and technological resources. She does this so the staff can interact and engage with the students with confidence.
Ms. Perry models teaching, guiding, and working with the staff with patience and understanding. She instills value, empowerment, and confidence in our VIP team members. Ms. Perry took the time to identify the need and has made a huge impact by building capacity in all of the Wallace staff. She believes in RISD and exemplifies excellence without acknowledgement every day because that is who she is.
