Elementary GT Testing Referral Window – Oct. 4-18
RISD elementary students in grades K-6 may test once per year to determine if they qualify for Gifted/Talented (GT) services. The referral window opens October 4, 2024 and closes October 18, 2024.

To enhance safety and security protocols, RISD is implementing student badges this year for all elementary students.
Reminder – RISD Code of Civility Being Implemented for 2024-25
The district is implementing a new Richardson ISD Code of Civility this school year to set expectations for how students, parents, employees, and visitors treat and interact with each other while at school or communicating about school-related activities.
