Thousands of children have been educated at Yale Elementary. Yale has been proud to be named an Exemplary School by the Texas Education Agency consistently over the years. In 2006, Yale was designated a Blue Ribbon School by the US Department of Education.
Through a strong community of volunteers, parents and school staff, students at Yale have many opportunities to continue their learning beyond the core-curricular day. Co-curricular and extracurricular activities offered at Yale include:
A united community that grows all students academically, socially, and emotionally to inspire successful, global leaders of tomorrow.
Yale Elementary welcomed students for the first time in the fall of 1974 with Jerry Hall as Principal. Yale has also been led by Carolyn Bukhair, Bob Parks, Rudy Rogers, Dr. John Phillips, Steve Lemons, Philip Bates, Dr. Stanley Crawford, and Suzanne Davis. Yale’s current Principal is Carrie Greer.
