Happy Assistant Principal and LITE appreciation!

The assistant principals and librarian are giving high fives to students during their parade

We’re SO blessed to have our incredible assistant principals, Angela Guesby and Lindsey Floyd, and our LITE/Librarian, Leslie Ingram, here at Aikin! They are invaluable members of our team, go above and beyond for students every day, and we wouldn’t be able to do what we do without them. Thank you for all you do ladies!

It’s a pumpkin patch in the classroom at Aikin Elementary, where first graders turn review time into a pumpkin hunt! Pumpkins around the room are labeled with nouns, and students then sort them by person, place, thing or proper noun on graphic organizers. These interactive and collaborative activities help our young learners develop both personal and academic skills as they engage and grow together in #RISDInTheClassroom!
