Our incredible 5th grade Reading teacher, Ms. Ollie, got a visit from Tabitha Branum, our superintendent and other District personnel to receive the Super Teacher Award! She was nominated by her peers and selected for this award out of many other talented educators in RISD! We are so proud to have her at Aikin!
The school year is right around the corner, and this year’s Backpack Bash is coming to a campus near you the first week of August.
RISD is changing the dates of spring break on the 2024-25 student academic calendar. The new dates for spring break will be March 10-14, 2025 – moved up one week from the previous dates of March 17-21.
RISD will offer summer meals in June at seven different campuses across the district, and the Network mobile food pantry will stop at five other campuses.
