The Network of Community Ministries Mobile Food Market will be closed from November 25 – November 29.

November is a time to acknowledge and celebrate the rich and diverse cultures, traditions, and histories of Native Americans.

Young learners at Audelia Creek transformed their reading classrooms into hospitals and were fully immersed in their learning! Learners effectively collaborated to deepen their understanding of the skeletal system and human body making real world connections!

We Read Together is Richardson ISD’s volunteer initiative to champion early literacy skills for students.

Another 12 schools met or exceeded their attendance goals last year.

Starting Aug. 19, the Network mobile food pantry will stop at a handful of RISD campuses.

To enhance safety and security protocols, RISD is implementing student badges this year for all elementary students.

The district is implementing a new Richardson ISD Code of Civility this school year to set expectations for how students, parents, employees, and visitors treat and interact with each other while at school or communicating about school-related activities.

All parents and guardians are strongly encouraged to become familiar with how RISD schools approach safety and security.

Michael D. McDonald has been named RISD’s new Area Superintendent of the Berkner Learning Community.

RISD is changing the dates of spring break on the 2024-25 student academic calendar. The new dates for spring break will be March 10-14, 2025 – moved up one week from the previous dates of March 17-21.

RISD is now interviewing positions for the 2024-25 school year.

The PTECH program provides students an opportunity to earn a high school diploma and an associate degree simultaneously.
