The HPPM Library’s mission is to teach inquiry and information literacy skills, digital citizenship, online safety, and promote a school-wide culture of reading.
It is my privilege to be the LITE/Librarian at HPPM since 2021. I received my Bachelor of Science from Texas Tech University, and my Masters in Library and Information Science from Texas A&M Commerce. I have been working in education since 2003, and my passion is fostering a love of reading to our students.

Hello! I am Hira Gomes. This is my fourth year at HPPM and first year as a Librarian assistant. The last three years I worked as a grade-level Aide.
I have four boys, and love to spend my time with my family.
I am grateful to be a part of HPPM family.
