Today, RWJH celebrated AVID Day! We joined schools nationwide in recognizing the power of education, the dedication of our teachers, and the resilience of our students.

The student members of the TAFE (Texas Association of Future Educators) are national champions! After winning an award at the Texas conference in the spring, four students traveled to the Educators Rising National Conference this summer with their sponsor, Mrs. Schaefer. We are so proud of these students and Mrs. Schaefer for representing West so well!

RWJH Coach Artra Griffin was awarded RISD Jr High Coach of the Year!
